Nissan launches 'significant' customer commitments

On November 1, Nissan will go live with one of the most significant customer commitments the industry has seen.

The Nissan + You Care initiative will be at all 185 dealerships.

The project will be run in its entirety for three months during which time customers will be assured they can benefit from all five pledges that make up the promise.

During this initial phase, dealers will be mystery shopped and customer feedback will be used to iron out any teething problems before a national campaign begins next April to promote the new initiative.

Among the commitments is that customers will receive a year’s RAC breakdown cover if they have their Nissan car – regardless of age, mileage or condition – serviced at a Nissan dealer.

The pledges also require dealers to fund and stock more demonstration and courtesy cars.

The Promise

> Nissan dealers will provide free courtesy cars to service customers

> RAC roadside cover for Nissan cars serviced at Nissan dealers

> Nissan will match any like-for-like service quotation from a garage within 10 miles using Nissan parts

>Rapid handling of complaints

> Guaranteed availability of the model, engine and transmission a potential customer wants to test
