Thatcham, the motor repair research organisation, is bidding farewell to its chief operating officer, Jason Moseley.

Moseley has resigned to take a senior position in the industry, said the organisation.

He is joining Solera, the group which owns bodyshop IT business Audatex, as senior R&D director of its global data organisation, based in Madrid.

While at Thatcham, Moseley led calls for improved standards in the crash repair sector and was a key figure behind the organisation's participation in the PAS125 standard and Kitemark for body repair.

Peter Roberts, Thatcham’s chief executive said: “In his 8 years at Thatcham, Jason has made an outstanding contribution to Thatcham and to the repair industry. We thank him for this and wish him well in his future career."
