Renault has confirmed pricing for the GT versions of Mégane Hatch, Coupé, Coupé-Cabriolet and Sport Tourer will begin at £21,910 on-the-road.

The new version features a choice of 2.0 turbo-charged 180hp petrol engine or 2.0 dCi 160 diesel, together with exterior and interior styling and Renaultsport-developed chassis.

There is also a new GT-Line option pack available on lower-powered engines with GT styling and sports chassis for £1,290.

The new GT range specification includes a sports chassis setting, new GT-design front and rear bumpers, 18-inch wheels, Renaultsport 250-specification seats with specific GT upholstery and additional lateral support, Renaultsport 250-style steering wheel, aluminium pedal set and a dark charcoal interior trim with polished carbon highlights, rear parking sensors and bespoke badging on the grille and boot lid.

The GT versions bridge the gap between the Privilege versions and Renaultsport.
