The chance to win a new car is being used as an incentive to bring motorists into Fiat and Alfa Romeo workshops for their MoT test.

The two Italian brands are running the competition for consumers until June.

MoT customers will be entered into a draw, with the keys to a new Fiat Punto Evo or Alfa MiTo as the top prize, depending on which franchise carried out the test.

The campaign has been launched by Fiat Group Automobiles UK to reinforce the importance of regular servicing by approved and authorised dealerships and to increase the number of MoT tests and services booked at Fiat Group centres.

It highlighted that its dealers have highly trained technicians and use OE parts to ensure customers get the best quality service.

“Cars over three years old must have an MoT test, and having your car regularly serviced helps increase the chances of passing its test first time,” says Rob Calver, parts and services director, Fiat Group Automobiles UK.

The ‘Win a Car’ prize draw will take place on 18 July 2011.
