Saab Automobile’s administrator Guy Lofalk has quit, forcing the Swedish brand to appoint a new lawyer days before the courts decide whether to end the company’s bankruptcy protection.

Lofalk quit earlier this week and had previously advised to the Swedish courts that the company should end its reorganisation process.

Saab has appointed Lars Soderqvist of law firm Hokerberg & Soderqvist as its new administrator.

The Swedish court will rule on Saab's future on Monday.
