Nissan's European car supply unaffected by Japan crisis

Nissan has confirmed that it does not anticipate any short-term impact on sales or vehicle availability in Europe due to the earthquake and crisis in Japan.

The Japanese company said European markets had enough supply to maintain sales and customer deliveries for at least six weeks.

However, due to supply disruption in Japan, Nissan does anticipate some impact in the medium term “but it is too soon to determine the extent of that impact”.
