Dealer-Auction.com has auctioned more than 23,000 cars on behalf of franchised dealers since the business was launched in January 2009.

Director Gavin Smith said: “We are auctioning over 500 cars every week at present and this is growing week-on-week.

“We have seen a massive increase in numbers of trade buyers who are confident in buying through our online auction as they know every car is being auctioned from a franchised dealer.

“We have also seen a massive increase in the number of franchised dealers and dealer group buyers using our service to source quality retail stock from other main dealers giving a true indication that good dealer stock is becoming harder to find.”
