Kia has revealed its facelifted Soul which will go on sale in the UK this autumn.

The new Soul made its debut at the New York Motor Show this week and features a new 1.6-litre petrol engine mated to a new six-speed manual transmission which produces 138bhp, an 11% power increase over the previous engine.

On the outside, Soul gets subtle changes including new projector headlamps with LED daytime running lights, a redesigned bonnet and new front and rear bumpers. LED rear light clusters are also new.

Prices and full UK specification for the Soul facelift will be announced closer to its UK launch in the autumn.
