South of England car dealer Hendy Group has added a car configurator to its website to serve online customers.
The introduction of the configurator for its Ford, Honda, Kia and Mazda franchises allows customers to design and tailor a new car to their desired specification and colour.
Developed by Manheim Retail Services, it also allows customers to book a test drive and obtain a finance quotation on their configured car while business users can even calculate the tax benefit for company car drivers.
Nicola Jones, digital marketing manager for Hendy Group, which has partnered Manheim for several years, said: "Adding the new car configurator provides customers with more interactivity, offering the ideal solution to build their very own new car on screen. Including all the additional options and the opportunity for customers to look at finance means they are able to find the exact car that matches their requirements.
"It also ensures we are using the site to fully benefit our customers in their purchasing process.”
