Nissan has lowered the price of its Micra across the range supermini down from £9,750 to £7,995.

Standard equipment includes Bluetooth and auxiliary input for MP3 players and customers can get the entry level Visia for £99 a month on a PCP deal.

The Acenta trim now starts at £9,995. On top of the Visia’s equipment it adds 15-inch alloys, air conditioning, front fog lamps and a leather steering wheel among other items. It is also available for £119 per month.

The Acenta Connect which includes a touchscreen satnav system combined with Bluetooth is priced from £11,750 and is available for £129 per month.

The recently launched special-edition Micra Elle model has had its price cut from £12,000 to £11,195. It comes with the same standard kit as the Acenta Connect model, but adds climate control, a glass roof, alloy wheels and Elle badging.

The top-of-the-range Tekna has seen the price drop to £11,545 – a reduction of £1,205.

Standard equipment for Tekna models includes a glass roof, rear parking sensors, automatic headlights and wipers, and climate control.
