Brindley Garages Group have started a £600,000 redevelopment of its two acre Brincars Nissan and Mitsubishi site on the A5 at Cannock.

It will incorporate a new 4000sq ft Nissan corporate showroom with service reception, a customer waiting area and new offices.

The 12 bay workshop is also undergoing extensive modernisation.

The dealership, one of Brindley Garages Group’s oldest and most successful, employs 55 staff and also houses the Brindley Group bodyshop.

Bruce Round, who has run the site for more than 30 years, is retiring at the end of 2012 after 44 years with the group.

He will be succeeded by Peterjohn Durrell who moves from Brindley’s Wolverhampton Volvo site, which will welcome Adrian Frearson as its new dealer principal.

Brindley Group now comprises 12 franchised sites across the West Midlands with a turnover of around £150 million.
