Honda is recalling 50,000 CR-V models built at its Swindon plant due to an electric window fault on the driver's door.

A faulty seal on the master switch may cause liquids to seep inside causing it to overheat and potentially catch fire. One owner in the UK has been affected to far saying they could smell burning.

The fault affects the second generation CR-Va built between 2002 and 2006.

Customers are being contacted and instructed to take their CR-V in for a check up at their local dealership.
