Deltapoint has strengthened its management team by the appointment of Richard Hart, Iain McFarlane and Julian Stockton in support of the launch of i-Control, its product that supports dealers’ used car operations.

Entitled 'performance partners', the three employees are an integral part of the i-Control proposition, offering initial training and weekly coaching plus a review of the dealer client's business objectives, policies and market position and provide monthly reporting and unlimited advice and support.

Richard Hart has spent 30 years in the retail motor industry running sales departments for BMW, Fiat and Porsche dealers.

Iain McFarlane is an experienced marketing director with extensive knowledge of the digital sector within the automotive industry, gained from experiences at Peoples Ford franchise dealership, IBM and running his own marketing consultancy.

Julian Stockton has 20 years experience of franchise dealership management including new and used car sales, aftersales and customer care.

The new i-Control software launched by Deltapoint, part of Trader Media Group, will recommend what stock to buy, where to find it, how much to pay for it and how much to sell it for.

Paul Jarvis, managing director at Deltapoint said: "The appointment of Richard, Iain and Julian demonstrates our commitment to the long term success of i-Control by providing the resource to train, support and advise dealers on an ongoing basis to help them maximise their used car operations.”
