An online marketplace for used cars is adding live chat functionality for its motor trader advertisers.

Trader Media Group has chosen to deploy live chat technology from Contact At Once onto its Auto Trader classified website.

Nathan Coe, group director at Auto Trader, said: "Adding Contact At Once chat to our package is another example of our commitment to utilise the latest technologies for the benefit of our motor dealer advertisers and consumers."

One in four franchised dealers now uses live chat to engage with customers.

Contact At Once is already used by major car advertising sites in the US.
