The Retail Automotive Alliance (RAA) has confirmed a new two year deal with Manheim for the remarketing of nearly 60,000 cars up to the end of 2013.

The RAA comprises 24 independent dealer groups, many of which are in the AM100.

The RAA’s partnership with Manheim will see in excess of 21 bespoke sales held each week around the country.

Part-exchange vehicles from retail activity generated by the RAA’s 204 individual dealerships will be offered at Manheim auction centres in Leeds, Manchester and Mansfield in the north; Birmingham and Northampton in the Midlands and Bristol, Colchester, Saltash and Wimbledon in the south.

Light vans and trucks are also included in the deal and the RAA expects to remarket around 1,500 of these in special sale sections at Manheim’s commercial vehicle auctions at Colchester, Gloucester, Haydock, Leeds and Mansfield.

In addition, a new initiative of ‘ready to retail’ sales, including over-age stock and higher value part-exchanges, will be offered through Manheim Direct and eAuction. Simulcast.

David Bussey, chairman of the RAA and managing director of the £60 million turnover, Busseys Group said: “The RAA members have worked closely with the Manheim auction centres since 2006 and are delighted to continue this partnership for a further two years. Manheim is a market leading brand and an excellent fit with the RAA.”
