Seat has created a new special edition Supercopa styling kit for its Leon FR+ model.
The new model features bespoke ‘Supercopa’ badges, re-worked front and rear bumpers, smart side skirts, a more pronounced tailgate spoiler, bespoke BBS 18-inch alloy wheels and chrome-tipped, twin exhausts.
The Leon FR+ Supercopa can be specified in Nevada white, emocion red or speed blue. It can be fitted with the 2.0 TSI 209bhp petrol or 2.0 TDI CR 168bhp turbodiesel engine.
Additional equipment includes Seat Media System 2.2 which includes satellite-navigation with five-inch colour touchscreen and dynamic route guidance, DAB radio, Bluetooth audio streaming and SD card slot; Bluetooth phone connection; bi-xenon headlights with AFS (adaptive front-lighting system) and rear parking sensors.
Seat says the Supercopa additions feature £3,000 worth of extra kit but is priced £750 above the standard versions of the Leon FR+ starting at £22,530.
The new car coincides with Seat UK’s marketing activity around the UEFA Europa League, which Seat sponsors.
The brand’s television adverts around the remaining ties in this season’s Europa League will consistently feature the new Supercopa.
