Citroen has revealed a new Numero 9 DS concept ahead of the Beijing Motor Show which further showcases the brand’s hybrid credentials.

It’s unlikely a production version DS9 would go on sale in the UK but it’s further evidence of Citroen’s push upmarket and how its models are developing for markets like China.

The concept can run for 30-miles in full electric mode and can be charged fully from a domestic plug in three and a half hours.

Citroen boasts a 0-62mph time of 5.4 seconds for the Numero 9 with fuel economy of 166mpg and tailpipe emissions of 39g/km.
