Audi has added an online tyre quotation service to its national website, in a sign that the carmaker is serious about supporting its dealers' tyre sales.
The brand wants to highlight to customers that Audi dealerships can compete on tyre replacement.
Audi online tyre quotation, which can be found at www.audi.co.uk/tyres, enables customers to quickly and easily obtain a fully fitted cost for replacement tyres.
They are able to search using their specific registration, the model name or the tyre size required. Results can then be sorted based on the tyre manufacturer, the price or the wheel size.
Once a tyre or set of tyres is selected, a quote is generated that is valid for 15 days, and can be presented to any Audi Centre or Audi Authorised Repairer.
The quoted price includes VAT, fitting, new valves, balancing and environmentally considerate disposal of the outgoing tyres.
Audi said its authorised repairers have extensive experience of sourcing and fitting tyres cost effectively, and during March, their tyre quotes were on average 4% cheaper than the leading national online tyre supplier on a like-for-like basis comparing the same brand, size and specification, and including all ancillary charges.
