A new pay-per-view online video channel for car dealership staff has now gone live in the UK.

The Symco TV website, www.symco.tv, has been launched with 50 instructional videos for sales managers, service managers, service advisers and sales executives to help improve their selling skills.

Each video is five to 10 minutes long and focusses on specific improvement areas including car sales, GAP, paint and fabric protection, service plans and tyres.

The videos were already available to dealer groups across the UK and Ireland to train staff in customer-handling techniques, but they are now available for the first time on a pay-per-view basis.

Simon Bowkett, Symco Training managing director, said: “Modern dealerships are run very lean. They have to be. But that means it can be difficult getting your people out for the training they need to move forward.

“The beauty of Symco TV is you can train the right person, at the right time, without removing them from their desk.”

Users buy credits from the Symco TV website, which allows them to access the videos. One credit costs £5, and there are discounts for bulk purchases.

Each video is priced at one or two credits. It’s possible to watch a selected multiple times within 24 hours of purchasing.

The new service has launched with a special promotion where new users can get free credits by registering on the website.
