Oliver Greening has joined the Retail Automotive Alliance as business development director.

In this newly created role Greening is the senior executive responsible for the leadership and development of the organisation, taking over from Ashley Winter OBE who stepped down as RAA CEO in May.

Prior to joining the RAA Greening was director - membership strategy and services development at ADS Group, the national trade association representing UK aerospace, defence, security and space industries.

He was responsible for the provision of services to 850 member companies. He is a co-founder of an independent consulting and services company which provides specialist support to international research institutions, including NASA.

The RAA is a joint venture purchasing group delivering cost savings to its motor dealer group members. The group saves its members in excess of £6 million annually through agreements with major suppliers. The RAA is owned by its 24 shareholder members who have a combined turnover of £2.5 billion in the UK.
