Auto Trader says its Market Tracker online analysis tool is one of the systems dealer group Peter Vardy is using to boost its used car operations this year.
Peter Vardy adopted Market Tracker since the beginning of the year, reported first quarter profits of more than £2m and chief executive Peter Vardy said used car sales had really taken off, mainly on the back of its increased efforts to source quality, value-for-money stock.”
Market Tracker checks stock daily against 300,000 online records and alerts dealers to discrepancies in values and provides the information required to optimise pricing. It also provides CAP trade prices including previous month’s depreciation, regional and local filters for fine tuning, and a desirability score against every vehicle in stock.
Nathan Coe, group director, Auto Trader said: "With nearly 1,000 dealers already benefitting from the tool, I am confident that it will continue to grow in popularity."
