Mitsubishi, whose last launch was the ASX two years ago, will have three new models to launch next year.

The company, who showed the new global small car, the Mirage, at Paris, will kick off in the UK with the delayed launch of the Outlander SUV in March.

It was due to be launched in November but shipping of the UK models has been held up, says the UK company.

The Mirage and the Outlander plug-in hybrid will launch at the same time with sales starting from April 1.

The plug-in hybrid promises 49g/km CO2 and fuel consumption of up to 149mpg, the company says.
