A new managing director has been appointed to start at a top 25 AM100 car dealer next month.

Reeve Derby, which trades as Pentagon Group, has recruited ex-GMAC and Masterlease managing director Peter Tatlock as its new group managing director.

Tatlock is currently chief executive of international automotive service provider White Clarke Automotive and will join Pentagon full time from 1st February 2013.

Pentagon Group chairman Trevor Reeve said: "I’ve known Peter a long time and I’m excited about this appointment because I know he’s bringing with him vast motor sector experience which will be invaluable to us as we continue to improve and grow the business throughout 2013 and beyond”.

Tatlock said: "I am pleased to be joining Trevor at Pentagon having admired the company’s rapid growth in recent times.

"I intend to utilise all my previous experience in the motor industry to help the group improve its existing businesses and evaluate new opportunities as they come up as I know the group wants to expand further.”

A graduate of Harvard Business School, Tatlock has a wealth of international experience in the automotive financial service sector and has also served as managing director for a number of other companies including Holden Financial Services (Australia), Saab Opel Finance (Sweden) and Opel Bank (Norway).
