Honda (UK) is set to appoint a new head of dealer development in the coming weeks.
It comes as Nick Campolucci is announced as its new head of motorcycles, effective from 18th March 2013.
As head of dealer development for cars, motorcycles and power equipment since October 2011, Campolucci has been responsible for franchising, standards, profitability and retail experience throughout Honda’s dealer network in the UK.
As editor, Tim is responsible for the media content, planning and production of AM's multiple channels (AM print and digital magazines, website, social media and contributing to our events planning). He interviews and writes about as many franchised dealer groups and UK divisions of motor manufacturers as possible, to explore the issues facing UK motor retail and understand what solutions dealers and suppliers are using to overcome these.

Where did Honda go wrong?> They had the best respected model range in Europe, the best engines, best reliabilty and without doubt the best residuals. then the diesel revolution started. Honda joined the bandwagon, eventually, with the large capacity 2.2 diesel, but they were woefully out done on Co2 emissions. To compound their problem their UK advertising and marketing was etheriel in the extreme (for that read WEIRD! Remember the guy with the American accent, the Swindon ad compaign all followed by the ''cough cough clean diesel advert, no? nor does anyone else, except me perhaps as I worked there. So good luck to whoever picks up from this Nick fellow, because he will have a long, hard journey.
