Ford has completed the transformation of its commercial vehicle range with new Transit Courier.

Ford believes the four vehicles Transit range (Courier, Connect, Custom and Transit) and will help drive sales growth by more than 50% by 2016 and accelerate the brand’s lead in the CV market.

The Transit Courier is based on the same B-platform as the Fiesta and will be the entry point for CV customers to the brand when it goes on sale in spring 2014.

The Transit Courier will be available with diesel and petrol engines and offer Auto-Start-Stop on all units. Customers can choose between the Dagenham-built 1.5-litre 73bhp and 1.6-litre 93bhp Duratorq TDCi diesel engines, and the 1.0-litre 98bhp EcoBoost petrol engine.

The Transit Courier will also offer voice-activated in-car connectivity system, Ford SYNC with Emergency Assistance, Rear View Camera, Easy Fuel, Speed Limiter and standard ESC (Electronic Stability Control).
