AM has launched an autumn Digital Dealer Conference following unprecedented demand from franchised dealers to keep pace with the latest developments in the digital world.

The conference will be held on September 12 at the Heritage Motor Centre in Gaydon, Warwickshire and follows on from the AM Digital Marketing Conference earlier this year and its Digital Dealer Conference last year, both of which sold out.

The September event will focus on ways in which dealerships can utilise online to generate more sales and engage with a wider spectrum of customers in order to grow their businesses.

The digital sphere is fast-paced, fast-growing and, in many cases, provides free tools at the fingertips of those willing to invest the time and resources.

The conference will delve into various digital dealership strategies with the aim of getting down into the detail to help delegates improve their business or sense check how they are approaching digital.

It includes developing a greater understanding and importance of Google Analytics and search engine optimisation (SEO) enabling attendees to return to their dealerships with the ability to turn information available into tangible website changes to improve performance.

The conference will also feature sections on why blogging can be beneficial to dealers, some best examples of successful ways to use Facebook and Twitter to reach a wide audience of customers.

Interactive workshops aim to bring digital strategies alive with the help of sponsors at the event. RAZSOR, part of Trader Media Group, will provide insight into website performance and the changing landscape of SEO.

Digital marketing agency GForces , Marketing Delivery, which harnesses digital communications for enhanced CRM and video providers Zype TV will also deliver workshop sessions.

Jeremy Bennett, AM editor and conference chair, said: “This is our third digital conference and we are confident it will be just as successful as our first two sell out events.

“In a short space of time, our knowledge, understanding and utilisation of the digital arena has increased and continues to grow at an exceptional rate but it can be difficult to grasp the fundamentals while keeping an eye on future developments to ensure a business’ strategy keeps pace with a rapidly evolving world.

“Our goal with this conference is to help dealers take their digital strategy to the next stage and delve deeper than ever before into the areas which demand a greater understanding to harness their full potential such as Twitter and Facebook.”
