Toyota has appointed Chris Hayes to the new role of marketing director to head up its brand and product communications in the UK.
His previous position, held since 2011, was general manager for vehicle marketing.
Hayes commented: “I believe we have a range of cars that cater to a broad spectrum of consumer types and our dealer network gives some of the best service in the industry. This is central to our continuing success.”
The move is part of a wider leadership shake-up, with new president and managing director Matt Harrison dispensing with the commercial director role.
Those duties have been split between Hayes and sales director Ewan Shepherd.
