Ford chief executive Alan Mulally says he expects the brand to make profit in Europe from 2015.

Mulally, who is set to leave the carmaker at the end of 2014, told the BBC that he predicts a gradual improvement in the European car markets this year .

The brand sees China as its key opportunity for growth globally, now that it has the Focus in the market. In 2013 its sales were up 52% there.

Globally Ford has 23 new launches planned for 2014.
