Motors.co.uk has revealed a third consecutive month of record leads for dealers, with leads per day in September the highest in the site’s history.

The site has received a host of upgrades recently including a new ‘sticky’ navigation bar designed to improve the consumer experience and increased YouTube functionality, allowing car buyers to see more details of individual vehicles on the dealers’ own YouTube channel.

Motors.co.uk has also upgraded its unique ‘What’s Mine Worth?’ trade-in tool, with the ability for users to add a photo of their own car when sending the lead through to their local dealer.

Dealers also now have an enhanced ability to target a specific audience including dog lovers, off-road enthusiasts and those wanting to turn heads – with highly visible display advertising.

Managing director of Motors.co.uk, Andy Coulthurst, said: “We are continually evolving our product in order to make it even easier for buyers to connect with their local dealer.

"This latest suite of enhancements follows an incredibly successful period for Motors.co.uk in which average monthly leads for our dealers grew across the quarter by 90% year on year.

“A record number of unique visitors to the site, driven by our ongoing Carfuffle campaign and the extension of our network with the addition of Carsite, has driven the highest volume of leads ever for our dealer partners.

"We’re thrilled that our investment in growing the Motors.co.uk brand is really paying off for our dealers and look forward to continued success in the final quarter of the year.”

Director of marketing and business intelligence Dermot Kelleher said: “Our September product enhancements will be followed by further upgrades throughout the autumn months in order to capitalise on the post-plate change movement in the market and the run-up to Christmas.”
