ClickMechanic, the London based online market place for car repair, has appointed former AutoTrader director and MailOnline managing director James Bromley as a key strategic advisor and investor.

Bromley comes with a "wealth of knowledge in aggressively scaling online business’s" said his new employers.

His time at the MailOnline saw the publication grow to be the most read online news publication in the world surpassing the New York Times.

ClickMechanic chief executive Andrew Jervis said: “We’re at a really exciting juncture in the life of ClickMechanic with having some serious growth figures in 2014, amazing feedback from mechanics as well as some exciting partnerships in the pipeline.
