RAC members targeted with used car initiative

The RAC BuySure used car initiative is being marketed to more than 228,000 RAC members through an email campaign.

The move is part of increased marketing activity surrounding the RAC BuySure initiative as the number of dealers involved starts to grow.

The e-mail campaign follows the launch last week of a new online dealer locator designed to enable used car customers find their nearest RAC BuySure dealer.

Available at the website, it allows postcode and location based searches to locate any of the RAC Approved dealers that are now part of the scheme.

RAC head of dealer propositions Mario Dolcezza, said: "We are now heading towards having 100 RAC BuySure dealers and, with a growing footprint for the initiative, believe that now is the right time to move our marketing up a gear, especially when it comes to increasing awareness among RAC members about the advantages of the scheme."
