Slades Garage in Penn, Buckinghamshire has taken on the Jensen Motors Ltd franchise to sell restored and custom built Interceptors.

Jensen Motors Ltd is a new company established in October 2013 dedicated to the preservation of the Jensen brand heritage and model range. It is not connected, affiliated or owned by any other former Jensen businesses.

Buckinghamshire-based Slades Garage was established in 1922 and specialises in classic car sales, dealing with Aston Martin, Porsche, Rolls-Royce and Ferrari.

A Jensen sales specialist has been allocated to the new business.

Steve Barby, Jensen Motors, marketing director and co-owner, said: “The dealer appointment dovetails perfectly with our plans to celebrate and preserve Jensen as a marque, showing that we are serious about expanding our business organically.”

Jensen Motors had recently announced its plans to produce eight ‘champagne’ authentic Jensen models to celebrate 80 years of the marque. The company will build a “just come out of the factory” Jensen Interceptor MkI to mark the occasion.

Gregg Alvarez, Jensen managing director and co-owner, said: “We intend to accompany each of the ‘champagne’ models sent out to their owners with 80 bottles of champagne, as a further reminder of the anniversary we celebrate.”
