Lookers Volvo Colchester has been awarded gold in the ‘online marketing campaign’ category at the Essex Digital Awards 2014 for their online digital magazine ‘Kronika’.
Judged by digital marketing industry experts, the awards took place at Billericay’s The Ivory Rooms and celebrated "innovative, forward-thinking online" achievements of businesses, schools and charities in the north-east London area.
Franchise general manager Miles Alvis said: “I am hugely proud of Kronika, given it was only created just over 12 months ago, the EDA gold award recognises the commitment from members of the dealership team and from GoldSand Digital our creative partners that produce, edit and distribute the magazine."
Content has included interviews with Sir Ben Ainsley, world touring car racer Robert Dhalgren, and Nick Connor the managing director of Volvo Cars UK.”
EDA judge Duncan Popham said of the Lookers' entry: "Your entry was judged by a number of our independent panel of judges and, obviously, you scored very highly.
"The five criteria for the online marketing campaign were content, creativity, engagement, innovation and overall experience and you scored highly in each.
"In summary, the work submitted by the Lookers Group was exceptionally well presented, it was informative and demonstrated a very good selection of content which neatly struck the balance between engagement and information. It was also highly accessible and executed to a high level, aesthetically.
"Your entry also showed a very good understanding of the needs of your clients and potential customers."
