Vehicle information expert, HPI, has appointed Neil Hodson (pictured) as managing director.

He has nearly 20 years' experience in the used car market, combining several top level positions.

Prior to joining HPI, Hodson was group sales director for Manheim, where he led group sales across Manheim Remarketing, Retail and other UK businesses, as well as supporting the international sales strategy. 

Prior he spent 11 years at Experian Automotive, as director and general manager, where he was responsible for setting up Car Data Check.

Hodson said: “I aim to re-focus on our existing customers and ensuring we continue to deliver high quality, high value data solutions that provide a valuable ROI, designed to help them enhance their business. Through my understanding of the marketplace, I will be driving forward innovations that leverage the changing dynamics of the sector, by harnessing new technologies and market opportunities. By diversifying the HPI portfolio of services, we can bring our trade customers a new level of value, in new and interesting ways.”
