Actor John Hannah and musicians Emeli Sande, The Kaiser Chiefs and Eliza Doolittle are to feature at the world premiere of the Jaguar XE mid-size sports saloon at London's Earls Court on September 8.

Following the evening unveiling, narrated by John Hannah and with performances from The Kaiser Chiefs, Eliza Doolittle and Emeli Sande, 200 VIP guests will be joined by Emeli Sande at a secret location for a private 45 minute live performance.

During this Emeli Sande will debut her Jaguar Feel XE song, a newly written track inspired by the public via social media.

Digital marketing is being extensively used to build a buzz around the imminent launch of the XE.

Both the unveiling and Sande's concert will be streamed live on Jaguar's website www.jaguar.com from 19.15hrs on September 8.

And Jaguar's YouTube channel now hosts a video showing the British Royal Air Force Red Arrows Acrobatic Team passing the carmaker's factory in Coventry where 'XE' has been marked out by vehicles in its car park.

Jaguar said its XE will bring levels of innovation never seen before in this segment - with its lightweight construction expertise and sophisticated chassis technology in addition to the new family of Ingenium engines - all designed, engineered and manufactured in the UK.

Built around an all-new, aluminium-intensive architecture, the XE combines thrilling performance, agile handling and precise, responsive steering, with outstanding levels of refinement and fuel efficiency, said Jaguar.
