Consumers are being offered a new vehicle appraisal service, which will see a third party vet the vehicle and compile a condition report, with the offer of communication via a video link.

Car Buyers' Eyes has been launched by Pro-Driver, which has until now specialised in vehicle logistics and inspection of vehicles for dealers. It moves in excess of 1,000 vehicles each week.

Managing director Joss Ronchetti said: "We work alongside the largest dealer groups in the UK and it has been a natural progression to offer our services to the general public.

"Our Car Buyers' Eyes vehicle inspection service aims to be with the vehicle you need inspecting within 36 hours of a telephone order.

"On an average sized car we currently check more tahn 120 individual items for you. All Car Buyers' Eyes vehicle assessors have been thoroughly trained to take the guess work out of your next vehicle purchase."

Once the vehicle report is completed it is emailed to the customer ahead of a telephone consultation with you. They can also view the vehicle via Skype.

If the customer pays for the car electronically Car Buyers' Eyes will deliver it. The appraisal, consultation and delivery service costs from £165, incuding VAT.
