Paragon Automotive has appointed Steve Stanger as head of planning, technical and special projects.

The newly created role will support the company’s growth plans as it seeks to bring a range of new services to market in the coming months.

Managing director of Paragon Automotive Mike Pilkington said: “Steve has a proven ability to drive a business forward and his contribution will be key to the successful development of our business.

“We have a number of new products to bring to market in 2015 that will help us achieve our ambition to become the essential supply chain partner for the automotive industry.”

Stanger said: "Paragon places operational excellence at the heart of our business. We are continually assessing our processes so we can work smarter for our customers to meet their used car needs. I’m focused on making sure that Paragon is leading the industry in the way we process used vehicles.”

The company is also recruiting a new group operations director to replace Stanger, who has worked with Paragon Automotive since its inception in 2005.
