SMART repairer Revive! has launched a management information system to give car dealerships a detailed breakdown by site of used car preparation spend and volume.

The new management information data package has been designed and developed exclusively for Revive! to help its customers maximise their profit on used car sales.

The system runs on hand-held tablets carried by each Revive! technician who inputs the job details as he works on the vehicles.

The data is transmitted live to the server at Revive!’s customer service centre in Rugby where the specially designed software produces detailed monthly reports.

Revive! managing director Mark Llewellyn: “Our experience tells us that very few dealerships know how much they spend on used car prep from month to month, especially larger multi-site operations.

“Our new management information reporting system shows every cost in detail by job and by site delivering complete transparency. Through using the Revive! MI programme for the first time dealership groups will be able to overlay used car prep spend per site against sales figures.

“The new management data package allows dealers to understand what is being prepared and work with confidence with Revive! as they know cars won’t be over prepared and that they are in charge of controlling the costs.”

As part of the MI package Revive! carry out a full risk assessment of each site before work is carried out and provide a stock inspection and works scheduling service.

The Revive! MI reports show in chart form the exact costs of work carried out by Revive! and its dent partners per site on a weekly basis.
