PSA reveals real-world fuel economy for 1,000 models

PSA emissions testing

The PSA Group has published real-world mpg figures for 1,000 Peugeot, Citroen and DS models.

Fuel consumption in real driving conditions were analysed for 58 cars, which generated enough data to estimate the figures for more than 1,000.

Customers can view via web portals, selecting statistics by model, engine, gearbox, trim level and wheel size.

The readings for the 58 models were taken on public roads, covering around 60 miles of mixed conditions. To paint an accurate picture the cars were loaded with luggage, passengers and had the air conditioning switched on.

The group plans to add NOx emission data to the results in Summer 2017.
