Davide Sfrecola has been appointed the new head of Lamborghini UK, succeeding Andrea Cavedagni, who will now lead Lamborghini North America.
Sfrecola, a Lamborghini veteran since 2016, joins from Lamborghini Japan where he steered the country’s growth to rank fourth globally in Lamborghini’s sales rankings. He now takes the reins in the UK, currently the third-largest market worldwide for the Italian marque.
The appointment coincides with Lamborghini’s announcement of a new flagship showroom in Mayfair, London, set to open later this year on Berkeley Street.
The boutique facility will feature an Ad Personam personalisation lounge and will be operated by HR Owen, adding to its existing locations in South Kensington, Hatfield, Pangbourne and Manchester.
This brings Lamborghini’s total UK franchised outlets to 12, including dealerships operated by: Sytner in Birmingham, Edinburgh, Leicester; Grange Motors in Chelmsford, Tunbridge Wells; Rybrook in Bristol and Park’s Motor Group in Leeds
Holding a dual MSc in international management from Università Bocconi (Milan) and Fudan University (Shanghai), Sfrecola has held senior roles across China, Southeast Asia, and Japan, including overseeing the establishment of a Lamborghini Lounge in Tokyo.
“I’m delighted that Davide joins the EMEA team,” said Francesco Cresci, director of Lamborghini EMEA. “He brings a wealth of Lamborghini experience and will strengthen our brand and dealer relations in this key region.”
“The UK has a unique relationship with cars and particularly super sports marques,” added Sfrecola. “With our evolving model line-up including the Revuelto, Urus SE, and the upcoming Temerario, the appeal of Lamborghini in the UK remains strong.”
