Vantage Motor Group has completed work on refurbishing its Skoda dealership in Morecambe following a £400,000 investment.
The dealership is holding an opening night for customers tonight between 6pm and 9pm.
The site on White Lund Industrial Estate has been transformed in line with Skoda’s latest corporate identity standards and features a new customer hand over area.
The Skoda Morecambe dealership joined the Vantage family following the acquisition from David Ian Skoda in March this year.
Centre principal, David Hainsworth has been with Skoda Morecambe since 1999 and has over 33 years of motor industry experience.
He said: “We have been observing a steadily increasing customer appeal for the Skoda brand and the refurbishment of the Morecambe dealership shows how both Vantage and Skoda are setting the highest standards for their customers.”
The launch of the new showroom coincides with the launch of the refreshed Superb and Vantage will be offering customers extended test drives.

Is there any proven correlation between expensive glass palaces and improved Customer Satisfaction? Whilst manufacturers need some standards for premises to protect their brand image, I'd suggest that people and attitude are far more important. Not a criticism of this specific dealership, as it happens all the time across all brands, but assuming dealer staff remain the same will "investing" £X00,000 in a different colour facia, floor tiles and sofas notably improve CSI, given that the premises were probably perfectly acceptable before? A cynic might suggest that it's just another £400,000 overhead the site needs to recover before it turns a profit. Is this why many customers are perfectly happy to spend their money in far less salubrious premises, because they get good personal service at reasonable cost?
