Top 10 AM100 car dealer group Lookers has announced that Sally Cabrini has been appointed as a non-executive director with effect from January 1 2016.
Cabrini (pictured) is currently business services director for United Utilities with responsibility for information technology and human resources.
She joined United Utilities in June 2007 as HR operations director.
She started her career in HR with Rowntree Mackintosh before going on to work in senior roles for Northern Foods and then as a consultant to a number of companies.
Phil White, chairman of Lookers, said: "Sally has significant operational expertise in a variety of well-known companies and her knowledge of business systems and the development of people will be of great benefit to Lookers.
"Together with all my colleagues on the board, I would like to welcome Sally to Lookers and I believe she will make a valuable contribution to the continued development of the company."
