Marshall Motor Holdings has appointed Simon Page to the newly created role of head of property.

Page (pictured) is a qualified surveyor who has spent the last 14 years at dealer group Ford Retail.

Daksh Gupta, group chief executive, said: “We have an extensive programme over the coming years in our growing property portfolio and Simon is therefore a fantastic addition to the senior team.

“He brings with him a wealth of experience of dealership refurbishments and new builds.

“We are investing considerably in our retail property portfolio over the coming years.

“Work is already underway on our new Jaguar Land Rover (JLR) facility in Cambridge and we are also building a new JLR facility in Ipswich, together with and a new Audi centre in Exeter.

“All three projects are scheduled to complete and become operational in 2016.

“We also have projects in the pipeline throughout our growing property base, including significant site upgrades planned for our South East Audi businesses and others.

“Longer term there will be further redevelopment in Cambridge, and of course we continue to have significant growth ambitions.”
