Potential customers flooded into Trenton Group’s new Nissan dealership in Grimsby following a £ million redevelopment of the facility.

Guests at the weekend’s opening event were treated to attractions such as a rodeo bull and Formula One simulator at the site on Altyre Way.

Radio station Viking FM was also on hand as competition winner Denise Greenwood was handed the keys to as a brand new Nissan Micra.

Andrew Woodhall, brand manager at Trenton Nissan in Grimsby, said: “We had such an overwhelming response from local people during the building process that we felt the family weekend was a great way of officially opening the new site.

“We were absolutely delighted so many people came along to help us celebrate.

“There was a real carnival atmosphere and everyone who came along really enjoyed themselves.”

Featuring Nissan’s new state-of-the-art retail concept, the new 14-car showroom combines modern technology and creature comforts, to enhance the overall customer experience.

It also boasts a massive forecourt with enough space for up to 150 CARED4 quality assured used Nissan models and a high seven-bay workshop fitted with all the latest Nissan diagnostic equipment and staffed by a team of manufacturer-trained technicians.

The dealership will create up to 35 jobs in the town, is part of the ambitious growth plans of the family-owned parent company Trenton Group.

Founded more than 30 years ago, Trenton Group operates three thriving outlets in nearby Hull, including the city’s successful Nissan franchise.
