Bristol Street Versa wins export deal to New Zealand

BristolStreetVersa

Bristol Street Versa, Vertu Motors’ specialist wheelchair accessible division, has forged a deal to export vehicles to New Zealand.

Auto Brokers and Consultants, based in Auckland, New Zealand, contacted Versa as it wanted to offer vehicles built to a European standard.

Versa has showrooms in Batley and Widnes and offers mobility vehicles and adaptations to the local area. The first four vehicles have already made it Auto Brokers since the partnership began last year.

Noel Fleet at Auto Brokers & Consultants, said: “It was clear that the New Zealand market needed a more qualified vehicle. Before we began working with Bristol Street Versa, the market was dominated by vehicles which weren’t subjected to as many quality and safety checks as those sold in Europe.

“One of the main appeals of working with Bristol Street Versa is the high standard of vehicle that they supply.”

Fleet said his company will be one of the first to import wheelchair accessible vehicles from Europe to New Zealand.
