Ray Chapman Motors has appointed a new fleet sales consultant, Gavin Iredale, to meet the vehicle demands of businesses in North Yorkshire.
Forming a quarter of the group's four-strong team of fleet sales representatives and administrators at its York and Malton Volvo franchises, Iredale (pictured) will be on hand to identify the most suitable vehicles for business customers.
Other duties include highlighting various funding methods – along with tax implications for both the driver and the business – and illustrate whole-life costs, including fuel efficiency and CO2 emissions, which determine the entire cost of a vehicle beyond the monthly payment.
He brings several years’ experience in the motor industry having spent time with Mercedes-Benz and Ford as well as with Vodafone Automotive, which provides a range of connected car products and services.
His varied career has seen him work with financial advisors De Vere Italia and in the legal field with RG Solicitors and GlaxoSmithKline.
Iredale said: “The premium manufacturer’s growing range of fleet-friendly vehicles produce significantly lower CO2 emissions than most of its competitors, especially since the introduction of the T8 Twin Engine powertrain found in the XC90, V60 and now the stunning S90 and V90, too.
