Kia Motors UK president and chief executive Paul Philpott has officially opened Ringways’ new Kia Leeds dealership.

The Leeds-based retail group recently moved to the stand-alone Kia showroom on Crow Nest Lane, Leeds, as part of a bid to enhance the Kia buying experience for motorists in Leeds.

AM reported how the new facility aimed to create a comfortable area to ease the “apprehension some customers feel when visiting a dealership”.

Now Paul Philpott has delivered his seal of approval to the new venture, cutting the ribbon to mark the new showroom officially open.

Philpott said: “It’s great to see new dealerships opening around the country and the new Ringways Kia Leeds site looks spectacular, the staff have done an amazing job with settling into their new site and we look forward to hearing more good news from the team.”

Stephen Russell, managing director of Ringways Kia, said: “We’ve made a fantastic new home here at Crow Nest Lane. Our dealership can now provide a wider range of Kia models, including the all-new Stinger. We’re excited to welcome more people in Leeds to our brand-new dealership.”
