Sixty-five new jobs will have been created with the opening of the new 600-car facility, located on a seven-acre site off Bolingbroke Way, Little Stoke, Bristol, when it opens its doors to the public on Saturday (November 30).

CarShop’s new location represents a £14 million investment and becomes Sytner’s the third store in the South West, alongside Swindon and Cardiff.

Sytner officially rebranded its car supermarket division to bring its sites operating as The Car People brought under the CarShop banner back in June.

Earlier this year the division was also given the green light from planning officials to redevelop a former Homebase DIY facility on Queens Road, Nottingham, into another new site.

The opening of the new Bristol store already has plans to be heavily involved in charity and supporting the local community, with £1 from every car sold being donated to either CarShop’s national charity, Global’s Make Some Noise or the store’s nominated local charity, Young Bristol.
