TrustFord has appointed its fleet and commercial vehicle director Mark Wilkie, passenger vehicle sales director David Cox and aftersales director Stuart Cresswell onto its main board of directors, where they will help to drive its strategy alongside chief executive Stuart Mustoe, HR director Sharon Ashcroft, chief financial officer Shaun Glanville and chairman Jon Williams.

Mustoe said: “I am delighted to congratulate and welcome Mark, Stuart, and David to the main board.  Their collective experience & expertise in our product, fleet, servicing, and parts businesses will be key as we continue to invest in the group’s future growth and success.

"With our national scale across the UK & ever-changing automotive landscape it is so important we have the operational leadership to make the right decisions when needed.”

TrustFord opened a new passenger vehicle dealership in Carlisle in the summer of 2023 and in 2024 will be opening a further two main dealerships in Aberdeen and Glasgow over the next few weeks.

The dealer group has gained Ford representation in Scotland, which was previously held by Arnold Clark.

One of the 10 largest franchised dealer groups in the AM100, TrustFord has a showroom network spanning more than 60 sites throughout the UK and Channel Islands and the company also operates its mobile service operation across the country.

Mustoe, who has been with the group for 25 years, was promoted from finance director to the chief executive post in 2023.
