A new online portal has announced its arrival in the UK by claiming to offer dealer and consumer customers “the most cost effective platform to buy and sell vehicles in the UK”.

Autovolo aims to challenge the likes of Auto Trader, eBay Motors and Motors.co.uk, and is already listing 34,000 cars with ambitious plans underway to increase this figure to around 50,000 vehicles by end of the year.

A statement for the new contender said that a targeted bid to attract potential customers through marketing activity which is not confined to the internet would attract a six-figure number of monthly website users within 12 months.

The statement added: “Privately run and funded, Autovolo has assembled a team which has over 30 years of knowledge and firsthand experience in establishing and building successful businesses.

“Autovolo's approach will be to offer its trade customers a high level of personal service, which its management team believes is one of the most critical elements required in developing long-term business partnerships.”

Autovolo claims to have several unique functions set to benefit its customers, including 'Multi Car Search', a unique tool which enables customers to search for multiple makes and models of vehicles all at the same time.

Dealers will have full logon access to their own dashboard where they can see all of the web traffic statistics and can manage and update their account either manually or by using any of the industry standard data feed solutions providers programs.

The spokesman added: “With more unique functions for the dealer planned in the pipeline for 2016, it's going to be a busy year ahead but it is all part of Autovolo's mission to make the customer experience as smooth as possible.”
